Notification of Cancellation Due to Risk of Illness
SSC Board may find it appropriate to cancel SSC events due to potential risk of exposure to communicable illnesses.
· Parent/coach notifies board member who in term passes information along to President
· President collects all pertinent information and discusses with board members and as necessary, medical contacts
· A determination is made to the level of risk in continuing forward with the event as planned
· President notifies impacted age group or teams to provide awareness
NOTE: it is the club’s responsibility to determine if the event should take place, it is the parent’s responsibility to determine if the players should attend
NOTE: SSC will provide ONLY the information necessary for parents to make an educated decision. SSC will not provide any information that will identify an impacted player, family member, or volunteer.
