Grievance Policy
The club strives to provide the best experiences for our players, parents, and coaches, but from time to time concerns are raised. Any member in good standing may submit a formal grievance to the board by emailing any board member. The grievance should cite specifics of the concern including dates, times, participants, and any other applicable information.
It is encouraged for the member to follow the hierarchy structure within the club, bypassing a level should the grievance include a person within that role.
Coach -> Age Group Commissioner/Travel Commissioner -> VP of Developmental/VP of Recreational -> Submission of Formal Grievance to the Board.
Once a Grievance has been submitted, SSC board leadership will provide a receipt email to the submitter confirming its receipt as well as a timeline for its review. The formal grievance will then be reviewed during the next full board meeting and a course of action to address the concern will be agreed upon. Once this has occurred, the board leadership will reach out to the grievance submitter to provide them with the course of action and the grievance will be considered closed.
